Meeting with Supervisor

Time: 12.00 - 1.00 p.m.

Discussion:
  • The need for a thorough literature was stressed.
  • All the performance metrics have to be collected and consolidated so the proper ones can be chosen when formulating a problem.
  • adaptive/concurrent scheduling will come under dynamic scheduling.
  • look for an application such as weather forecasting or healthcare to implement the scheduling technique so that motivation could be presented better.
 Next Meeting
required to come with proper literature survey and the deductions made incorporated in the problem formulation in the following meeting.

Intermittent DC Meeting
will be conducted in the second week of April depending on the availability of Mrs. Kumudha Raimond(Internal) and the Director (Dr. Elijah Blessing).
still not confirmed.

Other concerns:
* may clash with Ms. Rose's Phd. work
Differences
-Ms. Rose is working solely on VM consolidation from what I gather, my work focuses on workflow scheduling.
